Drip Drip Drop- lil- April shower...
nah i kid --- I'm not watching Disney's Dumbo, and it's not even April. Its February 24th ... the day before SOUNDWAVE where I look forward to my ear canals dripping feverish blood while moshing to my favourite band of all time - SLIPKNOT- !!!
I can see it now, mosh pits slick with blood of the fallen, and mud from the torrential rains. Wind rushing down upon the unlucky mortals in the circle pits, mistrals sweeping away the weaker of the species. Flesh ragged spines pulled from the unlucky spectator's unready to defend their very lives... hunks of gore twisting in the maelstrom ...
Well OK, maybe not, maybe it will just be 20,000 odd metal heads head banging and windmilling and punching one another in the face ... But it will still make a brutal end to my uni holidays and give me some fond and painful memories to bring back to campus.
But, right now I am bored. Less than 24 hours still crunch in the face time and I have nothing to do...
SO- aside from wistfully imagining the brutalities of the morrow, i am researching my on going obsession anatomical skeletal clothing.
My new obsession are these shoes. yes i know i will never find them as rip off as they over 2 years old and yes i know $2000 is too much to pay for boots ... but a ghoul can dream right?
<div style="position:relative;width:600px;height:600px;"><a href="http://www.polyvore.com/dsquared_ankle_booties/thing.outbound?.embedder=0&.svc=copypaste&id=20905891"><img width="600" alt="Dsquared ankle booties" src="http://embed.polyvoreimg.com/cgi/img-thing/size/y/tid/20905891.jpg" title="Dsquared ankle booties" height="600" border="0" /></a></div><br/><small><a href="http://www.polyvore.com/dsquared_ankle_booties/thing.outbound?.embedder=0&.svc=copypaste&id=20905891">Dsquared ankle booties</a> (see more <a href="http://www.polyvore.com/platform_heels/shop?query=platform+heels">platform heels</a>)</small>
I also adore my pinafore by beserk clothing. After lusting for it for two years i acquired it just in time for soundwave and will be the focal point of my outfit for 2mrw. Unfortunately i cant find an image of it but it is black stretch drill fabric with a rib cage print down the front and cross over straps at the back. Perfect for moshpit bliss.
Another wardrobe staple of mine is the 'skeletal decay blouse' by tentacle threads. As shear as an xray and ethereal as a shroud, this blouse keeps you barely covered but demurely sensual, and is the perfect companion for the alternate ghouls summer wardrobe.
Last but not least I can not live with out my Louise Black 'doll flesh' corset. Mine is custom designed with some -Jekki- tweaks but you can purchase similar ones from her website. One of the most comfortable and form fitting corsets I have ever purchased, my 'doll flesh' waspie reduces my waist line by about 5inches while still giving me an arousing and 'pinched' hour glass shape. I will have to do a shoot in the future to illustrate how wonderful these underbusts really are.
Ok darklings, have fun looking for new additions to the anatomical skeleton range, and if you see anything I might like ... link me! I'm always looking for new additions to this collection. Time to get my hair chopped for SOUNDWAVE.

tea time
Hey Darklings.
This will be more of a visual post rather than a 'talkie talkie' post like i generally do. Today was a meet up for a group of us to celebrate one friends baby, one friends on-coming baby and another friends b'day whom i skipped out on due to lack of funds. I love 'the three monkey's' in West End but once we got there it wasn't as stroller friendly as i had hoped, but it was fantastic to see every one.
I had alot of fun planning the outfit the night before. I wanted something casual but with a rock-star glam feel and a little bit teaparty-ish aswell. Best part was i got to rock out in some of my new accessories and shoes from Tentacle Threads as well as my new Tripp NYC black glitter jeans.

i did a whoopsie
Hey all...
Sorry i haven't been on here as much and keeping a regular blog like I wanted. Things have been so up and down with work and personal life so blogging hasn't been at the forefront of my mind.
One week- and uni. I cant wait. I've missed it so much!
Waking up each morning to coffee, planning a cute outfit to carry me through the day, learning new things about film which I so love and meeting my new lecturers and seeing old friends.
I plan on in first week doing a blog in uni fashion and fun cheap accessories to spice up every day where.
I feel like the monotony of each day- going to class, the same coloured pens, the same dumb topics ... is what makes study hard.
my quick back to uni tips!!!
Visit typo- cute note books (3 for $10) and cute gel pens and also art supplies. Id die with out a typo. Plus u can grab accessories, lap top bags and more for really reasonable prices. My stationary would be dull if it wasn't for that place.
Get hair accessories- when your running late and still in last nights make up and an outfit u wiggled into from the floor, keep cute hair clips in ur hand bag and chuck them in as u dash to ur car or bus, a funky messy up style could save your self esteem and help you concentrate on the day. Or- just look cute! I recommend miss skull and bones ( http://www.facebook.com/miss.skull.and.bones ), she has made many hand made cuties for me in the past (my favourite being the black satin bat head band)
Ipod- for when you're pretending to listen in class but, you're not ...
A big scarf- for when you are hung over or tired and you need to sleep in class... I did- a few times only- (after all night study sessions I swear) fold up my grey and black argyle skull knitted scarf and nap on it ... but it was for a good reason. Plus once winter hits you'll need the scarf!! Multifunctional accessory!
Big funky sunnies- For when your make up is messy or, when you are checking out cuties on the smokers bench or you know the normal ppl reasons like prevention of eye ball cancers. I purchased rayban style black and white polka dot sunnies from 'jayjay's', and my all time fav were big red rocky horror lip ones i got from 'off ya tree'.
Ok, this week I hope to be back to normal. More blogging, more writing, more dress ups and I hope to let you all in on my fun tea party 2mrw, and fantastic David Bowie alien inspired outfit I am wearing to it (as per usual I will be the only one dressed like this) and also some images from sound wave and how to compile a cute mosh worthy festival outfit!!!

Don't Dream it, Be it ...
Hey Darklings.
In case u have not had the displeasure of meeting me in person, I, Jekki, am incredibly vain.
But, is this a problem? No- i don't think so. Maybe a few years ago i would have let something as small and insignificant as vanity bother me, but now i wear it and display it like a medal of honor.
Every day i take joy in the way my body looks, the way my tattoo's accentuate my curves, or when i have toned up more or lost more body fat, if my cheek bones look more hollow or how my new hair style looks, or how my new colours look...
Wow i could go on about me all day. I guess what i am trying to say is, after years of bullying it took a long time to accept myself for who i am and be comfortable in my own skin. And since then, i have only wanted to improve myself and further my physical development and happiness, as that goes hand in hand my my mental happiness and development as well.
So really, me looking good, feeling good, feeling healthy and being outwardly attractive actually improves my health, well being and inner-attractiveness (or as some ppl say personality, kindness, morals, soul etc etc).
Even though each day some one will comment that i am materialistic (which i'm actually not, i just recognize i have to wear clothes so i don't get arrested for shear sexiness and if i HAVE to wear clothes they may as well be the most damn unique and attractive clothes that money can buy!) or vain or self absorbed or wat ever little catch-frase you have for 'FUCK IM JEALOUS THAT THE TATTOO'D BITCH WITH LIME GREEN AND BLACK HAIR IS HOTTER THAN ME, IS MORE CONFIDANT AND KINDER THAN ME AND REALLY IM JUST A SAD SHELL OF A HUMAN WHO HAS NO FRIENDS, NO LIFE GOALS AND DOESN'T GET LAID ENOUGH.' - i am happy that you think i am vain, coz it means all my hard work is paying off- and you NOTICED (smilie face)
So, I've had my go-getter music on- Meat loaf, Rocky Horror picture show ... etc etc, and im feeling pritty tasty and happy today.
Now that my rant is over im going to share some pic's wif u lucky people!!!

Yay, me yesterday off to a tea party in the city with my friend, feeling happy with my ready/to/go hair and big make up.
Sigh, Ulorin Vex ... you make my heart throb <3 (i am lucky enough to own quite a few small pieces of her art work, prints of corpse. She is a talented lady though)
check out more of her work and bloggin fun with that link.
Aside from looking stunning, the composition of this shot is fantastic. i just love the innocent emotion portrayed in her face, while she wears such elegant yet sinister apparel. I also love the 3/4 sleeve jacket with the frayed cream voile hem line. makes me wanna shop >.<
Check out Ulorin's Art work at this link
where you can purchase various sized prints, original art and stickers as well.
If you have any opinions on art fashion, vanity or antifashion leave a comment, let me know what you think and if you agree with my opinion ^.^
Happy writing darklings.

Fashion Missions, code name club-wear!
O.k, finally I might leave the life of a hermit behind for a while a venture out of my room, with out my nose in a book. There is a night club coming up which i am thinking of going to, and night life and friends are bidding me to leave my batcave behind for a while ^.^
So to reintroduce myself, I am going to need to revamp my look and ooze pretended confidence for a night. The prospect of that alone is enough to make me think socailising is far too much effort... until we get to the best part...an evening of fashion.
I am dead set on wearing my favourite corset, ok well one of my favourites. I haven't had many opportunities to wear it yet, and i think it would be puuurfect in the summer heat with the little collar choker accessory and medical military arm splint (for extra damaged doll like cuteness <3)

My version of this stunning corset is a slight variant so that it would be a one off, while matching the one off custom made accessories as well. Its made by Pinkidus who owns Freyagushi, an amazing label with a french/harajuku/u.k twist, that specializes in cute Lolita inspired corsetry and victoriana haute-couture. you can look at her range or design something custom made with her here.
Another piece i am waiting on receiving (so, unsure if I will be rocking it on the night) is the fabulous sidewinder shorts by Tentacle Threads. In this outfit i think they would be the perfect addition to my favourite leather look platform boots and my sweet military corset by Freyagushi. The link for the shorts, and Anneliese's tentacular website is featured below.
She has alot of transeasonal designs in right now, and all are beautifully hand crafted in Australia by Anneliese, her little team and Mr Neverland her lovely hubby. I own alot of her pieces and outfits and they easily live up to the wear and tear i put my fashion through, especially when drinking. The fabric quality, especially the velvet and satin garments is exquisite, unlike allot of alternate brands which skimp on quality. Actually i only have good things to say about her label, and her, no nasty stuff ^.^ TeeHee.
To complete the ensemble i shall need shoes, a jacket for the unlikely event it becomes cool in the middle of Brisvania February, and then the obligatory items like stockings, undershirt and make up design.
(psssst, this jacket is another one by Tentacle Threads... get shopping little ghouls >.<)
I'm hoping finishing touches include black and white cat ears and black and white make up, maybe contacts and big lashes .... unsure.
Either way I'm looking forward to stomping the night away in fantastic Tentacle Threads gear and scoping out Brisvania's eye candy, and chomping on sushi too.
Much love Darklings.
